Ms. Tan Yun Yi

Ms. Tan Yun Yi is a Legal Associate at Messrs. Yong & Rajah, practising in the areas of Corporate and Commercial, Real Property and Banking.

She has experience in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate advisory work, including due diligence practices in relation to corporate compliance, M&A and proposals requiring regulatory approval in Malaysia. She has advised on the sale of businesses and assets, and drafted and reviewed a wide range of commercial agreements including share sale agreements, loan agreements and security sharing agreements. In the real property and banking space, she has advised on acquisition and disposal of properties, including an acquisition of land in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur for approximately RM 283 million and an acquisition of lands in Selangor for approximately RM 184 million. She has also advised on corporate loans, including secured corporate facilities of RM 331 million, RM 210 million and RM 209 million granted by Maybank.

Ms. Tan holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of the West of England, Bristol (2008), completed the Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2010, and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2012.
