Chong Boon Leong

Chong Boon Leong is a Partner at Rahmat Lim & Partners, specializing in international arbitration, with a focus on complex power and energy, infrastructure, oil and gas, and international investment and commercial disputes. He is concurrently a partner in Allen & Gledhill LLP, the firm's associate firm in Singapore.

He has practised almost exclusively in international arbitration seated in Southeast Asia for the past 15 years and is licensed to appear before the courts in both Singapore and Malaysia on arbitration-related litigation. He has handled disputes involving claims of US$400 million for works on a central processing platform, US$300 million over a mixed development building complex, and US$250 million over a 2000MW hydro power plant.

Boon Leong holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1991). He is a member of the Singapore Bar (1992) and the Malaysian Bar (2010).

He sits on the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Panel of Arbitrators and is recommended by Chambers Global and Chambers Asia-Pacific, where sources praise his "good legal mind", "very meticulous" approach, and dedication to clients.
