Putri Noor Shariza Noordin

Putri Noor Shariza Noordin is a Partner at Shearn Delamore & Co., serving as Head of Corporate / M&A and a key member of the Energy, Projects & Infrastructure practice group. She specialises in Infrastructure Law, advising on project development, energy projects, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.

Shariza has over 30 years of experience advising local and foreign parties on unincorporated and incorporated joint ventures, and M&A transactions across various sectors including plantation, automotive, and manufacturing. Notable matters include acting as Malaysian counsel to Saudi Aramco on its joint venture with Petronas for the RAPID Pengerang megaproject; advising MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd as main contractor for the LRT3 project (including the transition from a PDP model to a fixed price lump sum turnkey contract); and advising Worldwide Holdings Berhad on Malaysia's first Waste‑to‑Energy plant under a Concession Agreement and Design‑Build‑Operate‑Transfer scheme at Jeram Sanitary Landfill, part of an Integrated Solid Waste Management Centre. She has extensive experience negotiating concession agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), corporate green power agreements, design and build contracts, EPC contracts, and operations and maintenance agreements across renewable energy (solar, biomass), rail, and infrastructure projects.

Shariza holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London and a Certificate in Legal Practice. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1993. She is a member of the Malaysian Bar, the International Bar Association, and the Inter‑Pacific Bar Association, and serves as Contact Partner for the World Services Group.
