Hee Hui Ting

Hee Hui Ting is a Partner at Shearn Delamore & Co., practicing in the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration & Mediation groups. She handles civil litigation across corporate and commercial matters, including contract and commercial claims, fraud, tenancy and leases, and corporate debt recovery, as well as arbitration proceedings. She also advises private and high‑net‑worth clients on contentious and non‑contentious matters concerning family businesses, probate, trusts, wills, marriage and matrimonial causes, and children.

Hui Ting has acted for clients across various sectors in a wide range of disputes. Notable matters include representing an airport operator in an arbitration proceeding concerning the KLIA‑2 Integrated Complex (involving a claim sum in excess of RM100 million); representing a shipping company in a dispute relating to the termination of a subcontract for vessel charter and manpower; representing a vehicle manufacturing company in claims against vendors for wrongful transfer of tooling equipment and termination of development works; representing owners and property management companies of shopping malls and real estate investment trusts in tenancy and lease disputes; representing a construction company in disputes arising from condominium projects in Penang; and representing clients in a contentious probate action involving the Genting family business.

She holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London and an LL.M from the University of Malaya. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2015. She is a member of the Malaysian Bar and the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb).
