Pauline Khor

Pauline Khor is the Head of the Intellectual Property & Technology Department at Rahmat Lim & Partners, specializing in Intellectual Property Law. She advises and acts for many foreign and local multinational companies on a wide range of matters spanning the full spectrum of intellectual property and ancillary rights in Malaysia.

In the field of contentious IP, Pauline has appeared on behalf of rights holders in the High Court of Malaya, the Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court in high‑profile patent, trade mark, and copyright lawsuits. She has crafted numerous anti‑counterfeiting and anti‑piracy programs in criminal enforcement, working with local law enforcement agencies and private investigation firms on raid actions. Her non‑contentious practice includes formulating IP strategies and policies for trade marks, patents, designs, and copyright, as well as advising on portfolio management and IP‑centric due diligence for major business transactions.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1996. She is a registered Malaysian trade mark, industrial design, and patent agent, and is a member of APAA, AIPPI, ASEAN IPA, and MIPA.

Pauline is consistently recognised as a leading practitioner: listed in the Hall of Fame in Intellectual Property by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, ranked in Chambers Asia‑Pacific, World Trademark Review 1000, Lexology Index (Who's Who Legal), and Asialaw Profiles.
