Lum Sher Vin

Lum Sher Vin is a Partner at Rahmat Lim & Partners, practising in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, foreign investments and other areas of corporate and commercial law.

She has acted for private equity funds and listed and non-listed companies across a broad spectrum of industries in a variety of transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, on both sell-side and buy-side mandates. Notable transactions include advising Southern Capital Group on the acquisition of F&B Nutrition from Can-One Berhad at an indicative consideration of between MYR800 million to MYR1,000 million; advising Sumitomo Corporation on the acquisition of a majority stake in PMCare and Health Connect Holdings from Ekuinas and other shareholders; and advising Groupe PSA on its joint venture with Naza Corporation Holdings to manufacture automobiles for the ASEAN market.

Lum Sher Vin holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Sheffield. She was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law of England & Wales (Lincoln's Inn, 2010) and as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2011.
