Michelle Lim Wan Foong

Michelle Lim Wan Foong is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice at Shearn Delamore & Co., specialising in dispute resolution, construction and engineering law, and arbitration and mediation. Her practice encompasses litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation, with particular emphasis on building and construction law across a wide range of infrastructure and development projects.

Michelle has acted for main contractors, owners, and developers in complex disputes involving major infrastructure projects, including the Seremban–Gemas Electrified Double Track Project, the Mass Rapid Transit Laluan 2 (MRT2) project, a high‑rise mixed development in Kuala Lumpur, and an iconic residential tower in Kuala Lumpur. She also advises on the drafting and negotiation of building, engineering, development, and consultancy agreements for projects including power plants (hydroelectric, coal‑fired, waste‑to‑energy), data centres, light rail transit systems (LRT 3), water treatment plants, manufacturing facilities, roads, highways, and airports.

Michelle holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London, completed the Certificate in Legal Practice, and was called to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2013. She is a qualified adjudicator empanelled with the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
