Neoh Jin Keat

Neoh Jin Keat is a Partner in Rahmat Lim & Partners' Litigation Department, focusing on corporate, commercial, industrial relations and employment law disputes.

He regularly represents both foreign and Malaysian corporations in industrial relations, trade union and employment disputes across all levels of the Malaysian courts, from the Labour Court and Industrial Court to the appellate Courts. In addition to contentious employment matters, he has experience in advisory work and corporate restructuring exercises, including conducting employment due diligence and guiding clients on risk management and mitigation strategies in large-scale workforce restructurings. He also advises foreign, multi-national and public listed corporations on internal investigations involving complex fraud, financial irregularities, whistleblowing reports and audits, as well as human rights and labour due diligence, forced labour, and workplace health and safety obligations. Notable matters include the successful defence of the Industrial Court's decision in Tan Hock Hin v. Tasek Corporation Berhad and a successful appeal before the Federal Court in Khazanah Jaya Sdn Bhd v. Hisco (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, where the Federal Court clarified principles on pleading requirements and limitation periods for loan repayment claims.

Neoh Jin Keat holds an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of London and completed the Certificate in Legal Practice. He obtained the University Prize for Distinguished Performance in the LL.B. examinations from the Board of Examiners of the University of London External Programme. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2015.
