Timothy Siaw is a Partner at Shearn Delamore & Co., specializing in Intellectual Property Law. He is also Co-Head of Technology, Media & Telco and a registered Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design Agent. He holds a double degree in Science and Law from Monash University, Australia, bringing over 30 years of experience across the full spectrum of IP and technology laws.

Timothy has a distinguished record in patent prosecution, particularly in pharmaceuticals and life sciences, and has litigated Standard Essential Patents and advised on compulsory government use licences. He has filed and prosecuted thousands of patent applications globally and manages trademark portfolios for Fortune 500 companies across 120+ jurisdictions. His practice covers patent litigation and strategy, trademark and brand protection, copyright and industrial design, trade secrets, and IP due diligence for M&A transactions. He also advises on technology and IT agreements, data protection, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and healthcare and life sciences regulatory compliance.

He holds a B.Sc. and LL.B from Monash University, Australia, and is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia (non-practising).
