Vivien Yeow

Vivien Yeow is a Partner in the Financial Services Department of Rahmat Lim & Partners, advising on banking and finance and Islamic finance matters. She frequently acts for large Malaysian corporations, multinationals, public listed companies, and local and foreign banks on domestic and cross-border bilateral and syndicated loans, acquisition financings, and Islamic financings.

Notable transactions include advising financiers in connection with syndicated Shariah-compliant facilities of up to RM2.0 billion for Malayan Cement Berhad; acting for a syndicate of lenders on the multi-currency financing of the acquisition of McDonald's franchise rights in Singapore and Malaysia by a consortium including Qatar's Al-Mana Group and Saudi Arabia's Reza Group; and advising the Qualitas Medical Group on multi-currency mezzanine and senior facilities for a cross-border restructuring spanning Malaysia, Australia and Singapore.

Vivien holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Malaya and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2016.

She is recognised as a Rising Star lawyer in Banking & Finance by IFLR1000 and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
