Lilien Wong

Lilien Wong is a Partner at Shearn Delamore & Co., specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, international arbitration, competition law, and data protection and privacy law. She represents clients in domestic and international arbitration and litigation, with a focus on disputes in e-commerce, telecommunications and multimedia, social media, project development, and gaming activities.

Lilien has acted in significant arbitrations, including AIAC and ICC proceedings involving claims exceeding USD 100 million, and has represented a globally renowned Chinese telecommunications entity in international arbitration. She also has extensive experience in regulatory compliance work before the Competition Commission, Communications and Multimedia Commission, Malaysian Aviation Commission, Anti-Corruption Commission, and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner. She designs and conducts compliance review programmes for clients across key industries including e-commerce, energy, oil and gas, logistics, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, aviation, construction, and FMCG.

Lilien holds an LL.B (First Class) from Multimedia University, Malaysia, and an LL.M in International Commercial Law (Distinction) from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She was called to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2011 and was promoted to Partner in 2019.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (FMIArb), a panellist (Arbitrator & Mediator) at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), and a member of the SIAC List of Rising Arbitrators. She also serves as a Council Member of Young SIAC (YSIAC), a Corporate Member of the International Bar Association, and a member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
