Marhaini Nordin

Marhaini Nordin is a Partner at Shearn Delamore & Co., specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. Her practice also encompasses securities laws and capital markets work, including initial public offerings and placement exercises, as well as foreign investments and transaction documentation such as joint venture and shareholders' agreements.

Marhaini has been involved in numerous significant transactions, including advising DKSH Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad on its acquisition of Auric Pacific Malaysia; advising Gas Malaysia Berhad on its IPO and subsequent debt issuances; acting for MAHB on its joint venture with Cainiao HK (a subsidiary of Alibaba Group) for the development of a regional e‑commerce and logistics hub within the Digital Free Trade Zone in Malaysia; advising MMC Corporation Berhad on the listing of Malakoff Corporation Berhad and its acquisition of an interest in Penang Port; advising China Railway Group Limited on its joint acquisition of a 60% equity interest in Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd for RM5.279 billion; and acting for Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor on the divestment of part of its water concession business for RM200 million.
