Moy Pui Yee

Moy Pui Yee is a Partner at Rahmat Lim & Partners and Co-Head of the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Department, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. Her practice focuses on take‑overs, M&A, joint ventures, foreign investments, and corporate and commercial transactions across the financial services, energy and power, manufacturing, retail and consumer, hospitality, and plantations sectors.

Pui Yee has been involved in numerous significant transactions, including advising Sarawak State Financial Secretary on the acquisition of 15% shareholding in Malaysia LNG Tiga Sdn. Bhd. from Shell Gas Holdings (Malaysia) Limited; advising MetLife on its strategic partnership with AMMB Holdings and its acquisition of a stake in AmLife Insurance and AmFamily Takaful; and advising Jacobs Douwe Egberts B.V. on its voluntary conditional offer for OldTown Berhad, including the compulsory acquisition of minority shares—a transaction awarded Best Privatisation Deal by The Edge Markets (2018).

She holds an LL.B and a B.Ec from Monash University and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1992. She is concurrently a partner in Allen & Gledhill LLP, the Firm's associate firm in Singapore.

Pui Yee is ranked Band 1 in Corporate/M&A by Chambers Global and Chambers Asia‑Pacific, where she is described as "a leading figure in the market" and praised for being "strategic, giving very commercially sound advice."
