Serena Isabelle Azizuddin

Serena Isabelle Azizuddin is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice at Shearn Delamore & Co., specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and arbitration and mediation. She practices in all aspects of civil, commercial and corporate litigation, including contractual disputes, corporate disputes, joint ventures, debt recovery, judicial review, environmental, insolvency, defamation, and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitrations.

Serena has defended an action filed by 9 Plaintiffs against 15 Defendants involving issues of fraud, conspiracy, breach of contract, trust, and fiduciary duty, seeking RM106 million in relief; acted for the Respondent in a RM12 billion joint venture arbitration involving the construction of a major public transportation system; defended enforcement proceedings of a RM140 million Indonesian judgment debt involving novel issues of law; and represented a renowned international Spanish professional motorcycle racing team in a claim against their main sponsor for breach of contract and defamation.

Serena holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Kent at Canterbury (2012), a Barrister-at-Law qualification from Lincoln's Inn (2013), and an LL.M in Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from City University, London (2014). She was called to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2015.
