Zain Azrin Zain Azahari

Zain Azrin Zain Azahari is a Senior Partner at Zain & Co., specializing in real estate and property transactions. He advises corporate clients on major commercial property dealings, including sale and leaseback arrangements, acquisitions, and disposals of specialized buildings such as data centres, retail malls, hypermarkets, hospitals, and industrial facilities.

Azrin has led numerous high-value transactions, including the disposal of data centres valued over RM700 million, the sale of a retail mall for approximately RM1.192 billion, and the acquisition of commercial properties in London exceeding RM1 billion. He also advises on corporate restructuring of plantation divisions, banking and finance documentation—including Islamic financing structures—and has acted for clients such as Permodalan Nasional Berhad, Employees Provident Fund, Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad, and Malayan Banking Berhad on complex property and finance matters.

He holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Hull (1996), an LL.M with Merit from the University of London (School of Oriental and African Studies) (1997), and an LL.B (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (1999). He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2000 and is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
