Cheryl Lee

Cheryl Lee is a Partner at Rahmat Lim & Partners, specializing in Real Estate Law. She advises on a broad range of real estate matters, including the acquisition and disposal of various types of real property, leases and tenancies, property joint ventures, real estate investment trusts, colocation and services agreements, and property‑based legal due diligence exercises.

Cheryl is well versed in the regulatory and legal framework governing land law and real estate transactions, and advises clients on structuring, documenting, and executing complex property transactions. She has been actively involved in the data centre sector, advising Yondr Group on its maiden project in Malaysia—the acquisition of a 72.8‑acre parcel of land in Sedenak Tech Park for the development of a 200MW hyperscale data centre campus; advising VDC on agreements with Cyberview Sdn Bhd to develop a data centre campus in Cyberjaya; and advising various data centre operators on land acquisitions. She also advised Semangkuk 2 Berhad on the acquisition of an industrial property via an asset‑backed securitisation programme for a total consideration of RM826 million.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Reading and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2017.
