Ang Sinn E

Ang Sinn E is a Partner at Rahmat Lim & Partners, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, privatisations and other areas of corporate and commercial law.

She has extensive experience acting for private equity funds, foreign and domestic investors, financial institutions and government-linked corporations on high value and complex transactions across various industries. Notable transactions include advising Minor Hotel Group on its joint venture with Destination Resorts and Hotels for the development of the Anantara Desaru Resort & Villas, a project with a total cost of RM280 million; advising Ant Financial Services Group on its joint venture with Touch n' Go to develop a mobile wallet ecosystem for Malaysia; and advising KV Asia Capital on its acquisition of APIIT Education Group at an enterprise value of RM725 million.

Ang Sinn E holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Sheffield and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2006. She joined the firm in 2014 and has been a partner since 2015.

She is recognised by IFLR1000 as "an excellent M&A lawyer, very commercial and always responsive".
